Last summer my husband Ben and I travelled east to help his parents move from one city to another. While there we took a break from moving to experience one of the Harrison family's favourite day trips, Southampton.
Southampton is a community located along the shores of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada. The trip started with a drive and the charm of the Ontario countryside immediately won me over. Stone farmhouses and rolling hills made it quaint with an old-world feel. The towns we drove through had huge historical homes along the river and adorable downtowns. If you've never been to Southern Ontario, I definitely recommend it!
Upon arrival, we frolicked at the beach, walked by some of the most historical homes, and finished with fish and chips. I had my camera, my family, and good food. All was right in the world.
