White snowflakes began to fall as we drove out to the Wack property on a Saturday morning. We planned the portraits for close to when the sun came up to take advantage of the soft light. As it turned out, the timing also allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the fresh snow!
It was fun to see how the children had grown since the last year when we photographed them for the first time. They are adorable and full of personality! Hugs and tickles created sweet smiles that showed off each of the kids twinkling eyes.
Fyodor Dostoevsky once said, "The soul is healed by being with children." I certainly found that to be true in this situation. My hope is that these photos share some of the joy and beauty I experienced being with this wonderful family.
