As Ryan and Alicia's long time friend I was incredibly excited when they asked me to help them celebrate their five year wedding anniversary with some photos. It is always exciting to photograph people I love and admire and it meant so much that they believed in my skills enough to step in front of a camera for me.
Ryan and Alicia are the type of couple that know how to work together! In their five years of marriage I've seen them purchase and renovate a home, start a honey bee farm, outfit an amazing yellow van, and now begin Husbandry Farms all the while being actively involved in their community! Their work ethic and teamwork are things I look up to and really admire in both of them and their marriage!
During the shoot they were amazing at going with the flow and telling me they trust me! It gave me the freedom to follow my creative instincts and try out a few different spots for perfect lighting. While I was excited I was also nervous about photographing people I care so much about. However, the reminded me, "there is no losing here, we're here to support you." Could I find better friends!?
Ryan and Alicia, It's hard to believe it's already been five years since we were celebrating your beautiful winter wedding. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you celebrate your five year anniversary. May God bless you both and your marriage for many more years to come!
